On March 30, 2027, HubSpot v4 APIs will move to an unsupported state. After that date, v4 APIs will no longer receive updates, bug fixes, or stability guarantees from HubSpot.
As part of HubSpot’s transition to date-based versioning (announced in March of 2026) the legacy semantic API version v4 is moving out of support. The legacy semantic API version v4 is being phased out in favor of the current date-based versions.
This means:
If your app or integration currently uses v4 APIs (e.g., /crm/v4/), you should plan to migrate to the latest date-based versioned API before March 30, 2027. The current recommended target is API version 2026-03.
To prepare:
For Marketplace apps, this also affects certification and recertification. Apps using unsupported API versions that no longer meet the latest requirements may be denied certification or recertification, and non-functional apps may be removed from the HubSpot Marketplace.
This change is part of HubSpot’s broader shift to date-based API versioning, which is designed to give developers clearer version boundaries, more predictable support timelines, and a more consistent upgrade path. It also helps reduce unexpected changes for end users by making version adoption more explicit and intentional.
The end-of-support date for v4 APIs is March 30, 2027. We strongly recommend completing your API migration before that date.
