How do I create a test portal?

Test portals can be used to test your integration without it affecting the data in your HubSpot production account.  Test portals function similarly to our marketing trials, so those test portals will have access to most of the marketing tools, and you'll also have the option to enable the CRM/Sales tools as well.

You'll need to have a Developer account to create test portals.  If you don't already have one, you can sign up for one here:
https://app.hubspot.com/signup/developers

Once you sign into your Developer account, you'll see a link to Test Portals in the navigation menu.

On the Test Portals dashboard, click the orange button in the top right to create a new test portal.  The Test Portals dashboard will also show you any previously created test portals, their expiration date, and whether the portals are active or expired.

Test portals automatically expire after 90 days, so if you're using a test portal you'll need to renew it using the Renew button in the row for the portal.  Renewing a portal sets it to expire 90 days from when you click the renew button. Expired portals can be renewed up to 90 days after they originally expired.
