Date-based versioning provides a more consistent system for working with HubSpot’s REST APIs. This system aims to minimize disruption by consolidating breaking changes with set release cadences with a unified version path tied to a date within the endpoint path (e.g., /2025-09/).
This functionality is currently in beta. By participating in this beta, you agree to HubSpot's Developer Terms and Developer Beta Terms. Note that the functionality is still under active development and is subject to change based on testing and feedback.
During this phase of the beta, a subset of the current versions of HubSpot’s REST APIs are available with date-based versioning:
  • Account info API
  • Associations API
  • CRM objects APIs
  • Properties APIs
Use the left side-navigation to check out the date-based version reference article for each endpoint that’s currently available. For example, the GET endpoint to retrieve a list of objects can be found by navigating to Objects > Basic > List. Future beta phases will offer date-based versioning for other HubSpot APIs (Marketing, CMS, etc.), but the primary focus will be endpoints that allow you to read and write CRM data. A full suite of date-based versioned APIs is slated to be launched each September (e.g., /2025-09/...) and March (e.g., /2026-03/...). These versions will be immutable; however, developers can expect a minimum support window time of 18 months.
