Find Your Path

You're actively building on the platform, maybe you've built and launched an app in the marketplace, or created a custom integration with UI extensions, or you're at the forefront creating AI-powered solutions — you're not just using HubSpot, you're extending it.

What you'll do:

  • Complete the Effective Mentoring in the HubSpot Ecosystem course on HubSpot Academy to prepare for your first match
  • Meet at a cadence that works for your schedule, set clear expectations, and maintain open communication
  • Guide your mentee through challenges they're facing to help them reach their goals

What you'll get:

  • Stronger leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
  • Lasting relationships with other builders that expand your network
  • Become a certified mentor and build your reputation in the ecosystem

You're building on the platform, have a sense of where you want to go, and are looking for someone to guide you along the way.

What you'll do:

  • Be proactive with reaching out to your mentor, schedule your first session within 30 days, and communicate clearly when things change
  • Set goals before or during your first session and add them to Mentorloop to stay aligned with your Mentor
  • Schedule or Log meetings in Mentorloop to track your progress and share feedback with us

What you'll get:

  • Personalized 1:1 guidance matched to your goals, skills, and experience
  • Opportunities for professional development, help navigating career transitions, and access to program events
  • Guidance from leading builders in the ecosystem

Mini-cohorts bring a focused group of mentors and mentees together around a shared topic for a structured three-month experience.

What's included:

  • A 1:1 mentor-mentee match around the cohort topic
  • Five events to guide your learning and connect with other participants, topic-experts, and product team members.
  • A shared Group Loop for discussion and connection to ask questions and share what you've learned

How it works with the other paths:

Mini-cohorts are open to existing participants (including those in self-paced loops) and new applicants.

Your 1:1 connection doesn't have to end when the mini-cohort does — pairs have the option to continue as a self-paced loop.

2026 Mini-Cohorts: Developer MCP (complete) · Coding with AI (Jun–Sep) · Topic TBD (Oct–Jan)

Why Mentor in the HubSpot Ecosystem?

Beyond the direct impact you'll have on your mentee, mentoring in this program comes with real benefits for your career, your skills, and your standing in the community.

As a program mentor, you'll also have access to 1:1 time with the Program Coordinator — dedicated space to focus on your own professional development, work through technical challenges, and get guidance on your mentoring practice. Because great mentors deserve support too.

Grow Your Influence

Become a trusted voice in the HubSpot ecosystem. Active mentors gain access to exclusive opportunities like private betas, invitations to share product feedback directly with HubSpot teams, and recognition that opens doors across the community.

Strengthen Your Leadership Skills

Mentoring sharpens the skills that matter most: clear communication, empathy, and the ability to guide others through technical challenges. And it goes both ways: mentors consistently say they learn as much from their mentees as they give, gaining fresh perspectives on how the ecosystem is evolving.

Expand Your Network

Build lasting relationships with builders and developers you wouldn't otherwise meet. The connections you make through mentoring extend beyond your mentee, into their network, their community, and opportunities you can't anticipate yet.

Build Confidence as a Mentor

The Effective Mentoring in the HubSpot Ecosystem course on HubSpot Academy isn't about learning new skills — it's about bringing together what you know and applying it in a mentoring context.

In just over an hour, you'll build a practical framework for setting clear expectations, asking better questions, and giving feedback that helps your mentee grow. Free, self-paced, and required before you get your first match.

"My first thought about being a mentor was: what if I can't answer every question? During the certification, I realized mentoring isn't about having all the answers. Sometimes it's more about listening, asking the right questions, and helping someone learn how to find the answer themselves — which is often far more valuable than simply giving it."— Estefania, Mentor

How it Works

The program runs two parallel paths — choose the one that fits your goals and schedule right now. You can participate in both, self-paced matching is always available alongside any active mini-cohort.

2026 Mini-Cohort Schedule

Three mini-cohorts run throughout 2026, each built around a specific area of the HubSpot ecosystem.

Applications for Mini-Cohort 2.0 are open now, choose topic "Coding with AI" when you apply.

"My goal was to be able to, from start to finish, see how a project was completed—see the discovery call to that project, and see the code written for that. I got to do that through this mentorship. I don’t think I’d be able to get anywhere else outside of an internship."
