The HubSpot Ecosystem Mentorship Program is a 9-month commitment designed to support professional growth for both mentors and mentees. It’s built for those who use, build on, or work with HubSpot technology—whether as customers, partners, freelancers, or those looking to expand their careers within the ecosystem. While this program provides valuable mentorship and industry connections, it is not designed as a path to employment at HubSpot.
Key Things to Know Before Applying:
- Time Commitment – Expect to meet at least once a month and actively engage in discussions, goal-setting, and knowledge sharing.
- For Mentees – Applicants should have some experience with HubSpot and a clear interest in deepening their technical skills in areas like app development, CRM customization, AI solutions, or CMS work. This program is not an introductory HubSpot training but a way to expand and apply your knowledge.
- For Mentors – Mentors should have a proven track record of success working with HubSpot customers and several years of hands-on experience in the ecosystem. This role is ideal for those who want to give back by sharing expertise while also learning from fresh perspectives.
- HubSpot Ecosystem Focus – The program is about growing within the broader HubSpot ecosystem, helping participants develop expertise and opportunities beyond HubSpot itself.
- Community-Driven Approach – This is not a formal training program but a collaborative mentorship experience where both participants contribute to each other’s success.
If you're excited to connect, learn, and grow within the HubSpot ecosystem, we encourage you to apply!
On February 26th, HubSpot and Mentorloop co-hosted an informational webinar to talk through the program and application process, demo the Mentorloop tool, and answer live questions. You can watch it here.
Mentors in the HubSpot Ecosystem Mentorship Program are experienced professionals who have demonstrated success working with HubSpot customers and are eager to share their expertise. Ideal mentor candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Hands-on Experience – Several years of working with HubSpot technology in areas like app development, CRM customization, CMS solutions, AI integrations, or consulting.
- Proven Impact – A track record of helping businesses succeed using HubSpot, whether as a developer, agency partner, freelancer, or consultant.
- Commitment to Growth – A willingness to dedicate time over the 9-month program, meet with their mentee at least once a month, and actively support their learning journey.
- Passion for Mentorship – A desire to guide and uplift others while also gaining fresh perspectives from the next generation of HubSpot professionals.
This program is a collaborative experience, not just a teaching opportunity—mentors gain as much as they give. If you're ready to contribute to the HubSpot ecosystem by shaping the careers of future experts, we encourage you to apply!
The HubSpot Ecosystem Mentorship Program is designed for individuals who already have some experience with HubSpot and are looking to deepen their technical skills, expand their career opportunities, and connect with experienced mentors in the ecosystem.
Ideal mentee candidates should:
- Have some familiarity with HubSpot – This program is best suited for those who have worked with HubSpot in some capacity, whether through CRM customization, app development, CMS work, AI solutions, or integrations.
- Be proactive and self-driven – Mentees are primarily responsible for coordinating with their mentor to schedule meetings, set goals, and ensure valuable use of their mentor’s time. This is a mentorship, not a structured training program, so mentees should take initiative.
- Be eager to grow – Mentees should have a clear interest in advancing their technical expertise and applying their skills within the HubSpot ecosystem.
- Commit to the program – The program runs for 9 months, and mentees are expected to engage actively, meet with their mentor at least once a month, and drive their own learning experience.
- Be part of the HubSpot ecosystem, or a strong interest in becoming part of it – This program is open to customers, partners, freelancers, and individuals exploring career opportunities within the HubSpot ecosystem—but it is not a training course or a pathway to a job at HubSpot.
If you're ready to take your HubSpot skills to the next level, take initiative, and build meaningful connections, we encourage you to apply!
The HubSpot Ecosystem Mentorship Program is a collaborative, 9-month commitment designed to foster meaningful professional growth. Whether you’re joining as a mentor or mentee, success in the program depends on active participation, clear communication, and mutual respect for each other’s time.
Expectations for Mentees:
- Take initiative – You are responsible for driving the relationship, scheduling meetings, and preparing discussion topics to make the most of your mentor’s time.
- Be engaged and proactive – Set clear learning goals, ask thoughtful questions, and actively apply insights gained from mentorship.
- Respect your mentor’s time – Come prepared, be punctual, and follow through on commitments.
- Commit to regular meetings – At a minimum, connect with your mentor once a month and engage in meaningful conversations.
- Communicate openly – If you’re struggling to stay engaged, need to adjust expectations, or face any challenges, communicate with your mentor or reach out to the program coordinator for support.
- Contribute to the community – Be open to sharing your learnings and supporting others in the HubSpot ecosystem.
Expectations for Mentors:
- Share your expertise – Provide guidance based on your experience working with HubSpot customers, offering insights on technical skills, career growth, and best practices.
- Encourage and challenge your mentee – Help them refine their goals, offer feedback, and encourage problem-solving.
- Be a reliable resource – Commit to at least one meeting per month and be responsive to your mentee’s questions.
- Foster a growth mindset – Approach mentorship as a two-way experience, learning from your mentee’s perspectives while offering valuable insights.
- Set boundaries – Offer guidance and advice, but mentees should be taking action on their own—mentorship is not consulting or hands-on work.
- Stay communicative – If you're unable to continue in the program or face any challenges, let your mentee and the program coordinator know as soon as possible so we can support a smooth transition.
Open, honest communication is key! If you run into any issues, whether it's scheduling conflicts, engagement concerns, or needing guidance on how to get the most out of mentorship, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help!

For the 2025 HubSpot Ecosystem Mentorship Program, we aim to accept around 100 participants, split between mentors and mentees. The exact number will depend on the quality of applications and our ability to create strong, meaningful pairings.
How are participants paired?
Pairings are made using a combination of Mentorloop’s matching algorithm—which considers skills, experience, and stated goals—and human review to ensure alignment between mentors and mentees. Our team carefully reviews applications to create the best possible matches based on shared interests, expertise, and career aspirations.
If we receive more applications than we can accommodate, we encourage applicants to stay engaged in the community for future opportunities!
If you are selected for the HubSpot Ecosystem Mentorship Program, you will receive an email notification from Mentorloop with details about your mentor or mentee pairing. This email will include next steps, guidance on how to connect, and key program expectations. Pairing announcements will be sent out on March 12, 2025. Be sure to check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case)! If you do not receive an email by that date, feel free to reach out to the program coordinator for an update.

My goal was to be able to, from start to finish, see how a project was completed—see the discovery call to that project, and see the code written for that. I got to do that through this mentorship. I don’t think I’d be able to get anywhere else outside of an internship.Ezekiel Swanson2024 Inaugural Mentee
