Increased Approver Limits for Pipeline Deal Approvals

You can now select up to 30 approvers for your deal pipeline approval stages, increasing the previous maximum limit of 10. The previous cap of 10 approvers per pipeline created a blocker for organizations running multiple teams or subsidiaries through a shared pipeline where each group required its own set of approvers. To give teams the capacity to include all necessary stakeholders, you can now assign up to 30 approvers per pipeline.

In your deal pipeline settings, navigate to the Pipeline Rules tab and edit the approval process. Under the approvers step, select up to 30 approvers.

Please note:

  • This expanded limit applies exclusively to deal pipelines
  • All other approval types maintain the limit of 10 approvers

For detailed configuration steps, refer to the HubSpot Knowledge Base article on pipeline approvals.

New Data Model Overview tab is rolling out in Data Management

We're rolling out a new Overview tab in Data Management > Data Model, giving admins and CRM developers a single place to review and improve their data model. From the tab, you can view data health issues and personalized recommendations, create properties, custom objects, and pipelines, configure pipelines, add association labels, rename objects, and resume saved data model drafts. Quick actions also let you start a data modeling conversation with Breeze. If Breeze is turned off, the Overview tab is hidden and you'll land directly on the Manage tab.

Connected CPQ, Billing, and Payments is now generally available

We're introducing a connected quotes-to-cash experience for Commerce Hub Professional and Enterprise customers that helps automate billing and speed up payment collection. The release removes restrictions on billing schedules, allows a single quote to generate multiple payable invoices, and guides buyers to set up payment directly when they accept a quote. Commerce Hub customers who are active or prospective HubSpot payments users can apply for beta access, with participants added in batches. Early participants should be open to providing regular feedback between April and June 2026, and are asked to disable Automated Sales Tax and Checkout Fee settings during the early beta. Learn more in the Connected CPQ, Billing, and Payments knowledge base article.

In Public Beta

AI connector access to Sensitive Data is now in public beta

Super Admins can now allow supported AI connectors to read Sensitive Data in HubSpot accounts that have Sensitive Data turned on. Until now, AI connectors couldn’t access Sensitive Data properties or engagements. ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot can access Sensitive Data properties and engagements. Gemini and the Remote MCP server can access engagements only.

To configure access:

  • If the connector is already connected, disconnect it from both the AI provider and HubSpot, then reauthenticate it.
  • In HubSpot, go to Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps and select the app.
  • In the App access and permissions section, select the engagement permissions and, for ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot, the Sensitive Data property permissions.

Access is read-only, and users still need the CRM object or property-level permissions to see the data through a connector. Highly Sensitive Data properties remain restricted, and new permissions can take up to two hours to appear after you reconnect. Super Admins can opt their account into the beta from the Configure AI connector access to Sensitive Data and engagements article, which also has the full setup steps.
