Opening up the HubSpot CRM Embed:  Now Available for App Developers


What’s happening?

Previously only available for a select few integrations including Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and NetSuite, we have opened up the HubSpot CRM Embed for use with any 3rd party integrations.  

This embed tool allows you to display interactive HubSpot interfaces inside of your app.

Not to be confused with Content Embeds or the contact timeline embed, this API is not limited to the contact object and additionally offers a wealth of functionality allowing users to interact directly with HubSpot from within external applications.  

With the the CRM embed, you get the following functionality.

  1. Object timeline:
    See activities related to an object record, from meetings to tasks, with a fully interactive sidebar for more detailed insights. Users can apply activity filters and access association cards(e.g., related contacts, companies, and deals).
  2. Workflows Tab:
    Track workflow enrollment history, search for workflows by name, and even enroll records into workflows—all through the embedded interface.
  3. Sequences Tab (Contacts Only):
    Manage sequences with options to search, customize placeholders, and enroll contacts into sequences. Track each step to ensure leads are progressing.
  4. Properties Tab:
    Easily search and filter properties, view property history, and hide blank fields for a more focused analysis.
  5. Meetings Tab:
    Schedule meetings with full flexibility, choosing hosts, times, and locations (phone, in-person, or virtual). Manage upcoming meetings and view details directly in the embedded environment.
  6. Company & Deal Functionality:
    For companies and deals, you’ll have access to the same robust features, including timelines, workflows, and properties. Additionally, the Target Accounts Tab for companies aggregates key metrics like emails and meetings.

To help demonstrate the full potential of the HubSpot CRM Embed, we’ve created a sandbox environment that you can easily connect to your HubSpot account to explore all the available features. Further information is available on our developer documentation.
