Expanded Functionality to the Custom Event Creation API
The Custom Event Creation API has been updated to include some new functionality for users:
- We now have a batch create endpoint that allows you to add up to 10 event completions at a time. API users can leverage the
/events/v3/send/batch
endpoint to send along event completion data. - The API now supports multi-value enumeration properties. You can send more than one value into an enumeration property by separating the data with a semicolon. This is useful for multi-select custom event properties.
CLI 6.2.1
This update is primarily bug fixes and behind the scenes changes for improving error handling and logging. To update to the latest version of the HubSpot CLI run npm install -g @HubSpot/cli@latest
in your terminal.
Public Betas
UI Extensions Beta Updates
This month, the UI extensions public beta added a new charts UI components and the Figma design kit. Please see below for more information.
- Charts UI Component
HubSpot's UI extensions offer two versatile chart components—BarChart and LineChart—designed to visualize third party data for both private and public apps. The BarChart is great for comparing categorical data, while the LineChart is ideal for visualizing trends over time. Both components share a consistent API, requiring three main props: data for the dataset, axes to configure x and y axes, and options for chart settings like tooltips and legends. These charts support customization, including stacking, color configuration, and axis labels, ensuring clarity and performance even with larger datasets. Explore more through HubSpot’s Charts example projects or the Developers YouTube channel for implementation guidance. - Figma Design Kit Beta
The Figma Design Kit provides a visual toolkit for planning React-based app cards within HubSpot's UI extensions. It offers detailed examples of UI components, wireframes for app card anatomy, and various build locations, making it a valuable resource for aligning development teams and showcasing demos to stakeholders. Though in beta and subject to updates, the kit ensures smooth collaboration by providing a structured design framework. Users can access the kit via Figma, duplicate it to their drafts, and stay updated through periodic releases. Refer to the UI component documentation and changelog for the latest component availability.

Campaigns API
We've recently released the Campaigns API into public beta. The Campaigns API lets your integration create, manage, and analyze marketing campaigns.
The current beta supports these features:
- Retrieve existing campaigns, and create, update, or delete existing campaigns. The beta also includes batch APIs for these functions.
- View assets associated with a campaign, associate new assets, or remove assets from a campaign. Note: The beta currently only supports associating forms, static lists, and external website URLs.
- Retrieve analytics for campaigns, including the contacts associated with a campaign, the revenue attributed to the campaign, and budget of the campaign.
See the documentation and API reference for more details, and keep an eye on the changelog for future updates to this API.
New Delete Endpoint for Custom Channels API Beta
The Custom Channels API beta now includes an endpoint to archive custom channels. This endpoint allows developers to remove a registered custom channel from active use. Archiving a channel is essential for managing outdated or unused channels.
API Endpoint:DELETE /conversations/v3/custom-channels/{channelId}
A successful request will return a 204
status, confirming that the custom channel has been archived.
This update provides greater flexibility and control for developers who integrate custom channels into the HubSpot platform, improving channel management. For additional information, please refer to the API documentation.
New Mobile Chat SDK
The Mobile Chat SDK allows a developer of any iOS or Android apps to integrate HubSpot chat into their app. This integration provides a native, contextual support experience, enabling in-app self-service through customer agents, knowledge bases, and bots. Developers can easily configure and customize chatflows, while capturing crucial customer information to enhance support efficiency. More information available in the HubSpot Knowledge Base.
