Sunset: Workflow Webhook Action for Marketing Professional Portals

New Marketing Professional portals will no longer have access to the workflow webhook action starting November 1st. New Marketing Enterprise and existing Marketing Professional portals will continue to have access going forward.

What's happening?

Starting on November 1st, HubSpot professional marketing accounts will no longer have the ability to add webhook actions to their workflows. Webhook actions will continue to have their current functionality, and enterprise accounts will still be able to add webhook actions.

If your integration relies heavily on webhooks, you can use the new Workflow extensions feature to replicate much of the same functionality. Workflow extensions allow you to create custom workflow actions that users will be able to add when building workflows. These actions would send data for the contact to your system, in a similar manner to webhooks, but allow for a more customized user experience, as well as allowing you to customize the data included in the HTTP request made to your system.

What's changing?

This update will affect new professional accounts created or upgraded starting on November 1st, 2018. Existing professional accounts will continue to be able to add webhook actions, and their existing webhook actions will not be affected - in effect, these existing accounts will have grandfathered permissioning.

When is this happening?

This change will affect new professional accounts starting on November 1st.
